Surf Club is due to start this term. The sessions are run by Global Boarders who are fully qualified and Cornwall County Council approved in terms of working with young people and health and safety. Staff will drive the students to and from the beach in the school minibuses (and usually surf with them!). The sessions will run after school 3.15pm – 6.30pm (approx.) with students being collected by parents/carers.
The proposed dates are outlined below:
1. First session: Tuesday 4 June
2. Tuesday 11 June
3. Tuesday 18 June
4. Tuesday 25 June
5. Tuesday 2 July
6. Final session: Tuesday 9 July
Costings are as follows: 6 sessions including instruction and board hire £120 Travel costs (depending on uptake to cover minibus travel) £9.50 - £15 * Total: £129.50 to £135*
